COVID-19 Response

In these unprecedented times, the health and safety of myself, my clients and the community at large is my top priority. This page is designed to create transparency and assurance in regards to  the sanitation practices that will allow for the maintenance of a safe work space.

Latoya will be following current CDC and NC State safety guidelines for COVID-19.  

Latoya has been FULLY VACCINATED and BOOSTED and will continue wearing a mask in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

• Latoya has taken and passed an online certification for Barbicide. Barbicide is the gold standard for salon sanitation.
• All surfaces and implements have been cleaned and sanitized prior to opening and will be cleaned and disinfected between clients. Latoya has built in a 15 minute window between clients to thoroughly sanitize and disinfect the studio. All disinfected implements will be stored in a clean and closed container.
• All capes, towels and linens have been laundered and disinfected prior to opening. They will be stored in a clean and closed area.  
• Payment and rescheduling can be conducted through contactless methods.
• Appropriate PPE will be used. Gloves will be worn a appropriate during of the service and changed as necessary.
• There will be NO overlapping clients. There will be only one client allowed in the studio at a time in order to maintain social distancing.

• If you or someone you have been in close contact with has COVID-19 or its symptoms, is sick , or has a temperature, you will  be required to reschedule your appointment for no sooner than 14 days after your original appointment date.
• All services will be by appointment only. No walk-ins will be allowed at this time.
• Due to the one guest to one stylist ratio, and the limited number of daily appointments available,  it is important for each guest to be on time for their appointment.  Please take into consideration traffic, weather and other factors when planning your trip to the salon.

Q: Are clients required to wear a mask and/or gloves?

A: Clients are NOT required to wear masks. It is requested that clients do not wear gloves due to the potential of cross contamination. Hand sanitizer will be provided and disposable masks will be available upon request.

As we slowly get accustomed to our 'new normal' we should remember that we must navigate these waters together with compassion and understanding.  Feel free to ask about the sanitation and safety of the studio at any time. Thank you all so much for your continued love and support.
